Just about everybody’s heard the Lord’s Prayer right?
Our Father, in heaven,
Hallowed be Your name,
Your kingdom come. Your will be done,
On earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread…
Well, you know the rest. Good words to live by! I especially like the phrase: GIVE US THIS DAY OUR DAILY BREAD!!!
One version says, "Give us our food for today". Personally, I love food! (I’m a guy, what do you expect?)
Now we all know as human beings we have need of ‘natural’ food to sustain us from day to day. As Christians, we also have need of ‘spiritual’ food. God’s Word, the Bible, is the ‘daily bread’ that we need to feed our spirit and soul – to sustain us and keep us healthy in our inner man, as well as in our minds (which is part of the soul).
In the fast paced world we live in, a quick stop in the Drive-Thru can be a satisfying and fulfilling meal (although not always very nutritional!)
That’s why at GC Crew we want to provide our students with a ‘FAST FOOD FIX’ that is spiritually satisfying, mentally fulfilling, as well as nutritionally sound!
