Grace Like Rain. It's both a beautiful phrase and a catchy lyric. If you are outdoors and it begins to rain, you are going to get wet. No matter if you want to or not. But let's look beyond the lyric and phrase and into the heart of God. As we live out our lives, we are going to be touched by God's grace. It doesn't matter what I choose to believe or how I choose to live.

Grace by definition is an undeserved gift or undeserved favor. It's not about getting even or paying for your mistakes, rather it's about the penalty being washed away with grace, like rain washes impurities from this earth. In a culture and society driven by vengeance and the 'settling of scores' this message of Christ is a powerful and freeing force in our lives. No matter where we've gone or what we've done...There is nothing we can do to make God love us more. There is nothing we can do to make God love us less.
