God created all men for a purpose, our desire is for each of us to reach and complete that purpose.  We are sons, brothers, husbands, fathers, and grandfathers who have a love for Christ and a passion to become the man He wants us to be.  We want to grow relationships with other godly men so we can help each other in our walk with Christ.  It is about being REAL with each other.

Vision:  The vision of our men’s ministry is for each of us to become the man that God created us to be.  Ephesians 2:10 states, “For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them.”

What's happening?

Well men of God, we have had a wonderful summer so far.  As school is getting ready to start we gathered together on August 13th for our annual Pray for the schools event.  This year was the 7th year that we covered the schools in prayer before the start of the school year.  Three years ago we added Copperas Cove ISD to our prayer time and did so also this year.  Between KISD and CCISD we prayed for/at 67 campuses.  What a blessing it is for us to go to each campus, gather around the flag pole and pray for the administration, teachers, staff, and students.  Thanks to all the men who spent their Saturday standing in the gap for these schools.  May God bless you in all your needs.

Our fall Men's Conference is just around the corner.  It is on 7 and 8 October.  The conference theme this year is "CALL OF DUTY".  Men, as we are getting closer and closer to the return of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, we MUST step up and do what God created us to do.  We need to answer the Call of Duty.  It is spiritual battle for souls for eternity.  God has each of us where He needs us so He can reach souls through us.  As in natural battle, none of us would go untrained, unequipped nor by ourselves.  The same is true in these spiritual battles we face every day.  Men, come to the conference and let Pastor Terry, Pastor Jan and others speak into your lives so you will be better trained and equipped for battle, and get to know those other men who are standing beside you in this daily struggle for souls.  We will be looking at how we need to answer the call in Church (personal relationship with God and serving the local body of Christ), Family (being the godly husbands and fathers we are meant to be), and Community (work and neighborhood).  Men, join us in October for a great time of the Word, Worship, and fellowship (oh yeah, and breakfast and lunch).

Have a very blessed day, and keep our men who are deployed lifted up in your prayers.

Brothers in Christ,

Steve
