Mosaic Young Adult Ministry

community.Mosaic

Mosiac is community and community is all about connecting with people.  In all the ways we'll connect with people in our young adult lives, it's important to have a solid foundation and to make the ultimate connection:  being a friend of God.  At Mosaic we put great emphasis on developing strong relationships with other young adults as we grow and develop our young lives.

diversity.Mosaic 2

To say that we are all unique and different would be cliche', but to not celebrate and embrace our uniquness would be tragedy.  If God decided to make each of us unique, there has to be a reason behind it.  If there is a reason behind it then there is a purpose for it.  At Mosaic we are learning about ourselves each week.  We are finding out who we are, why we are who we are and what we should be doing with who we are.  (that's a mouthful)

relevance.Mosaic 3

How wretched would it be to become a part of a group, begin to learn yourself, but then not be able to apply what is being said week in and week out?  Basically, that would be useless.  So at Mosaic, we aren't just doing ministry because that's what someone said we should do, but we are doing ministry to be relevant.  The messages, the environment, the events and activities are all relevant to young adult life and who we are, where we are.

the details.

who should I be to attend a meeting?
We require everyone to be mostly human and at least 18.  Technically our age range is 18-34(ish), but if you are married and your spouse is over 34, bring them along.
is Mosaic for singles only?
Nope.
when do we meet?
Sundays @ 6:00 p.m.in the GC Crew youth building on the Grace Christian Center campus.  On occasion, we may have meetings at various locations (movie theater, laser tag, concerts, etc...) and we'll update you here on the website or through our email newsletter.
I've got kids, what do I do with them?
We provide childcare for most every meeting we hold, unless it's a family based event where we want you to bring your children with you.  So for married couples or single parents, don't feel that you can't be involved, we want to make it possible for everyone to attend and become involved.
Do you have a purpose and vision statement?
Yes.
What is it?
Purpose Statement:  Community, Diversity, Relevance
Vision Statement:  To develop a community of young adults pursuing God’s creative purpose in our lives:  applying our diverse talents and unique gifts to relevant ministry outside of our comfort zones.
I've got a question that isn't listed here.  What do I do?
Email us- and ask us anything.  As long as you understand that "no" and "I don't know" are completely valid answers.
